About

Diarmid's focus is developing business ideas within a commercial framework involving new technology, science and mining. His degree in Business and subsequent Science background has cultivated a path that brings together his business acumen with today's technology opportunities.

Early on in his career Diarmid concentrated specifically on information technology and worked closely with large system integrators who supplied business-2-business software services in South Africa and Europe. Since moving back to Australia in 2000 he has worked within mining, renewable energy, software services, and the oil & gas sectors in a commercial projects capacity. He has had extensive exposure and hands on experience with aboriginal engagement strategies particularly in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

His recent work relates to mining projects in commercial and contracts management where he has been providing a broad range of  business services to EPC and EPCM engineering organisations. He is currently engaged as a consultant to an Australian/Chinese joint venture in a contracts specialist capacity, he is also advising a start up company in a part time capacity in commercial readiness.
